Thanks to the support of the Fund for Innovations in Sustainable Conferencing from The Company of Biologists (https://www.biologists.com ), we have been able to implement a concrete measure to reduce the environmental impact of our event. Specifically, we offered a 20% discount on registration fees for participants who traveled by train from distances greater than 300 km, aiming to encourage the use of lower-carbon transport options.
